Picked up a 2008 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert for a good price...couldn't pass it up. It's a test bike-hence its blue color, which at first was a bit shocking, but it's growing on me. I still have my KHS.
This bike is amazing. Very well balanced, flows over obstacles like they weren't there.

DT Swiss wheelsets, Avid Juicy Ultimate hydraulics brakes, Fox Talas R shock, XO/X9 shifters, 180 mm front rotor, Specialized Brain (amazing).

This bike has really renewed my enjoyment. It's about 3 pounds lighter than my KHS, and climbs like a goat. I thought the KHS was nice; this thing puts it to shame.

I'm digging the color. I like the newer geometry on the stumpy's. I've got an older model '06...but love the compnents and handling. Its very plush ride and I don't have the brain setup. Nice ride.

Which KHS do you have? I ride a XC-604 and like it, but my next bike will most likely be a 29" hardtail---full susp is just overkill around here really.

Riding buddy as an 08 expert in the bronze color. Great bike. About 9 months later he and his wife were back at the bike shop and she told him to pick out another bike, He got the Comp as a backup!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy.

Keep your KHS whenever you get the 29'er.

I ride my Rig and my Titus about the same amount. Nice having a 29er SS (gonna make it a 1x9 at some point) and a 26er FS to pick from.

I have the XCT555...good bike, but the frame is a medium-too small for me. I gave it to the GF, and she loves it. We have a lot of technical trails around here that the FS is good for. Plus, I travel all over and ride in a lot of different places, I needed something versatile.

5" travel is a great all around bike for sure.
