New prop too tight in wear ring, won't spin

Building a WB1 with a Yamaha 1200 and I'm putting a Solas big hub 15/22 prop in the stock 144 pump. I have the same prop in my other triple blaster and no problems, but in this pump with everything right and in place the prop won't spin in the wear ring, like it's too tight and gets hung and stuck. Should I try a different wear ring or maybe file the outermost edges on the prop til it fits? I'd hate to mess up a brand new prop but I'll try whatever.

Did the prop come off the 1200 because I believe the 1200 has a 155 mm pump....

New wear ring the one it's in now is probably swelled up. I've had them do that in the past

No the prop is for the 144 pump. Will try a new wear ring

Make sure the back of the prop isn't hitting the veins before you spend the money on a wear ring.
