ok this might help...

i ahev a question on the bore.. its currently 62mm bore and i wont to get the 64mm 760cc. does it cost the same going from teh stock 61mm to a 64mm bore? or is it cheaper to go from a 62mm to a 64mm? or is it all the same?

justn trying to find the best/cheapest way to get the 760cc.

Option #1 Bore my current cylender to 84m

Option #2 buy a cheap 61x cylender bore that to 84mm and do what ever it is i need to do to get my current cylender in working condidion.. prob bore it to 82.5mm and then sale it?

PS: here more pictures

dude, you dont need to bore any more than you need to. it might be fun to say "i have 'this' many cc's"..... but youre not going to notice any huge power gains from it.

84mm on stock 61x sleeves makes them very thin, and some builders won't go that large. 83mm is the 'normal' max.

Go to 82.5mm, that is 727cc I think, and leaves you another bore afterward if there is a problem.

Grif....I got one you can have for free + shipping.

Ross C sent it to me when I bent a rod. I'll be switching to a Hot Rods this winter during my rebuild. Least I could do is pass the karma along to somone who needs it.

The crank is in pretty good shape but can def tell it was a ocean crank. Rear bearing is a little rough but you could get another season on it or until you got the $ for a new crank.

Only problem is....my engine wont be coming out until late this year for my rebuild.
