New Guy

What's up everybody? I'm new around here. Today I was planning in taking my first ride on a stand up, that being my SJ (the 550 has a bad engine). But it's been :raincloud: down here in Mobile. Anyway if anyone wants to go riding just let me know.

I've got to shout out to michaelart. Thanks :beerchug:

we ride evry weekend in Orange Beach

Thanks mxkris. I'd like to go but I'll have to find another truck the beast I use get about 10MPG w/o a trailer. It's a 95 Bronco w/ a Skyjacker 4" lift, 35" x 12.5".......you get the picture.

Thanks ski crazy.

I guess I should tell you guys about my first ride. I manage to jump right up on my sn and tool around. I did spend a nice chunk of my time swimming after it though. And I got a couple feet of air off a boat wake which I followed up with a wipeout. Y does my ski porpose @ moderate speeds? I tried moving around in the tray with no luck. It doesn't do it when I'm going flat out, but the ski is kind of twitchy (no WOT wipeouts....yet).

I'm ready for the weekend!!!!!!!!!! This stand up thing is a great change of pace for me since I just retired from running the 400m hurdles in college.

I've read all the trick threads so lookout for wipeouts. lol
I need to install a bilge pump for the subs/fountains. I almost did one of those turn subs on accident and got tossed in the process.

Oh yeah I sold my 550 (I never rode it. The motor was bad). I'll be putting a single trailer on the board after I take some pics.

scarab is somewhat like a gt40 that goes on a VW chassis.

You dont happen to be on any bronco boards to you? im on broncozone and ford truck enthusiast.

how are you standing with your feet when riding and where are they in the tray? also where is the handle pole at? You said the thing had a different prop on it, is it still the stock intake grate and ride plate? Does blipping the throttle level the ski back out? Is there any amount of water in the hull? if your bilge line is clogged or you run a low rpms for awhile you could be weighing the hull down with water causing issues.
