Ok since I found out I can bolt 61x cylinders right up to my 6m6 cases what do you guys this about this.

Like you guys know, I want to spend as little as possible but get somethin better that what I have
What do you think about these auctions?
I was thinking of bolting his cylinders and heads to my cases and also buying the carbs and use his intake and reeds he has for sale as well.
What do you guys think?
Will I notice any differeance from what I have now. I will be using my B pipe with this setup if I buy it. Will it need to be rutuned?

That looks like a good setup. You will notice some more power, but not to the boats potential.

61x cylinders WILL NOT bolt up to 6m6 cases without boring the cases out. That guy had the cases bored out, so you would have to use his cases and put your crank in there. I would stick to a single carb with that setup...

you can almost get a ported motor complete for around that price and gete rid of the 6m6 stuff i found a 701 with electrics, and flywheel cover and stator. for 450.00

well he cut me a deal that i dont think I can pass by for tho whole engine and carbs he has for sale.

He also said he will put the whole motor together including my crank I have and put it in his cases and install the motor in my boat for 125 bucks

I think thats a awsome deal plus the cost of the motor of course

you can buy a good twin carb 701 for that money !! I you cant find one.. I will sell you one ! you will only need to switch over your electrics/bed plates & port match that exhaust manifold.. why put shoes on a pony thinking it will run with a Mustang !
