D-Roc

I forgot!
the website says the rad is 2.72 i know cause i just picked one up last night and been looking for some info on them. I think we can take off 17% from the ATP's website prices for some tax thing we won't have to pay.

What electronics does it use, and can you use an advent CDI with it?

What about a group purchase if the price is right?

The flywheel has been tested with a stock unit and also with an MSD unit. Because of the many variables we have set the Flywheel so that it will give 16 degrees of advance with a stock CDI with stator marks in the original position, this is in fact very conservative but safe given that MSD advances the timing. We would suggest running it at around 19 degrees and we enclose simple instructions to enable you to do this without needing a timing light. What we are trying to avoid is a situation I have recently encounted. I put a timing light on a ski with a RAD Flywheel, MSD Enhancer and stator marks at factory settings and got 25 degrees advance at tickover and it didn't retard very much as I reved the engine. Needless to say the pistons on this engine were suffering from serious detination.

Group buy- No problem, if you can come up with an order of say 5+ units shipped to one location we'll sort out a good deal for you, this will also save alot on shipping.

Price ex VAT is £383 (GBP) We cannot quote $'s as the exchange rate alters daily.

According to my info RAD have retired from the business.

How did you guys shave anouther .5 lbs off the flywheel? In all honesty, this is not that bad of a deal. It seems like it gives you the lightweight associated w/ the MSD TL yet retains chargablity. Pretty sweet!!

it looks like around $750 ~. I was kinda intrested untill I seen that but I think a lightened 61x will work for my cheap a$$. I will keep my fingers crossed for a used MSD TL. I hope you sell a bunch so the market will flood with the heavier ones.

We did not start this project with a weight in mind, this is just the weight it ended up at. The weights we have are as follows:
OEM 62T Flywheel- 3lbs 14ozs
RAD 62T Flywheel 2lbs 2.6ozs
ATP Flywheel 2lbs 0.06 ozs
The RAD weight we have seems to be different from what you guys have come up with, the one we weighed was a recent Flywheel it's possible they may have changed the spec, I know the 61X RAD is completely different and even has a different number of magnets.
