It kinda looks like Waterdawg's R.E.V. hull. Thought I would share the pic.

How about some feedback........what do you guys think?

It looks like a knock off. I think the REV has design and flows throughout. The BUN hull looks like he tried to make exotic like the REV but did not have that critical eye to guage what line works and what does not. The REV is very busy line wise, but focused. The BUN looks busy and not as refined IMO

but it has a nice fruity bouquet with little aftertaste and would go great with a nice porterhouse.

The Japs are notorious for coping, they are the best at industrial copying.....

look at the Mercedes M class, and then the original Lexus RX, almost identical.

This is nothing new, they finally added an additional scallop to the 24/7 hood they had copied, it was a direct copy.

Thats a pricey splashed hull. You would think they'd be comming up with some cool designs of their own. Kinda sucks.

That just it, they let others do the R&D, then they copy it.

If I am not mistaken, the Japanese "ZERO" figther plane was originally designed in the US, if I am not mistaken Howard Hughes has some input in it...... I use to be a military history buff.

Here's the deal with the Japanese: They are tuners, not inventors. They do not come up with anything new, but can squeaze EVERY last ounce of performance out of something. I am blown away by how much effort is put forth for a 2-3% performance improvement on something. This isn't bad though. In an ideal world, a company could have fist pumping Americans invent products, Italians design the asthetics, and Japanese tweeking the details for maximum output.

Just for the record, I work for a Japanese company (Kawasaki) and LOVE it!!

That is so true........

I think(if I am remembering correctly) the American Military did not buy into the Zero's design because lack of performance, the Japanese got the plans, tweaked it, and you had one of the best performing fighters at the time.

They are perfectionist.......... wonder if I could hire some to lay tile!

I worked for Kawasaki for 2 years at the Lincoln plant where all the Jetskis, MX, Ninjas, mules are made. They had the best benefits and paid holiday vacations ever. They would close for Christmas for 3 weeks paid. Also summer vacations paid. All together I had a total of 1.5 months of paid vacation per year. Not to mention sick days. If you missed no work you built up sick hours too. I welded quad and Ninja frames there. I burned a 30 lb spool in less than 2 days. Now thats welding like a mofo.

Know anyone that still works there? It would be nice to know once and for all if they have permanently dropped the new X2 from production.

Dude, why did you leave?!?!
The flying red "K" is the place to be!

That is one ugly arse hull. Looks like they took the worst part of every boat, and put it together.... then put the most rediculas nose ever on top.

Not a huge fan of the Rev (looks wise) but it looks far better then this.
