Thanks, Funny thing is I found out it was taking on water... one-way was stuck open. Now it runs even better!!!

I've seen an Octane... or two... In my garage :sneaky:. Seems one of them will not have either of those problems you mention... but how???? :09: hmmm?

Working on that.... got a T/L setup for each one... one of them will hopefully be up and running by the weekend! :fingersx:

Heyall yeah should be PIMP cant wait to see the new one come together.

No luck on the aluminum flywheel, eh? I'm not a big fan for rec-riding with TL.

Neither am I... but I can deal with it. I thought I had found an old RAD Alum wheel on ebay... bought it... turns out it never had magnets put in it for charging, it was a T/L wheel (looks just like the orange charging one that used to be on RAD's website). So its on the shelf right now, might try installing it this winter - have an analog brain to go with it and all the parts.

Still have mixed feelings about putting T/L on that boat, but I would at least like to try it.

I have TL on mine(OctaneMotor) I have rode 5 tanks of gas without charging the battery. Just buy another battery and keep it charged. Definitely more maintenance than stock crap, but not much. I don't have any problems with mine in the salt, but I only ride salt 2 times a year.

yep

thank for let me try ur ski gino that was fun...
surprised how better i felt compared to sxr

No problem, it was fun riding with you. We need to try and come back that way before Daytona. I have been trying to get better but have a long way before I can ride like you do. I have a flatwater ski buing built that I am bringing to Daytona thats going to be awsome. It's the blk and orange on from Kevin at Leg Drag. He and Randy from Watcon are putting together a kick a$$ ski. It won't be as fast as the Octane, but it will go upside down 10 ft in the air.

Random question here........Is the 2004 the last Octane model made? Should you really expect to pay 8K for one of these? What do you think the price range for one would be either new or low hours?

'04 was last year made. I think they retail'd for 9K, so there must be a good reason to pay $8 for one, like its totally custom.
