Neoprene Boots

I've heard alot of you guys using neoprene socks under wresting boots and was just curious if anyone just went with neoprene boots? Seems like killing two birds with one stone. I'm considering it, but wanted to get some input. Academy has 'em for like $24. Let me know

I am no expert by any means, pretty much a newbie, but I just purchased a pair of Nike Air Zoom E-Cue skateboarding shoes. Seem to work grea so far and very durable. $100 shoes that I got for $15 at my local board shop. Not bulky and don't retain water so they don't get weighed down when wet. Anyone else out there have a pair? Here's a short rewiew I read about them:

"The sole is super grippy, and the rubber spacer mesh on the top of the shoe will also resist abrasion and help grip. Right near the pinky toe, where you'll be doing kick flips, the spacer mesh even has added grip and texture to help out. The only strange ting for skating is that there are no clear flex spots on the top part of ht shoe, so it can bunch in strange ways. Though it seems like this could mess up your riding, I've never had a problem. The shoes also have an extremely thin sole cushion, which means you'll have more board feel, while still having plenty of support and shock absorption."
