Wish we had more to go on than your short statement about skis being banned. Are boats banned? What about wildlife habitat? Without knowing all the facts it's hard for me to give my support.

Fishing boats are allowed but, "no wake". The reason that I was given about why they banned PWC was because about 20 years ago some fisherman complained to the city about Jetskiers.
Poor and not good enough for me to accept so, here I am trying to change it back. They where allowed at on time in the past!

PWC ban or not... If all boats are held to a "no wake" policy, releasing the ban on PWC's isn't going to change anything. I'd rather work on my ski than idle it around on the water. Get the no wake policy lifted first and then you can try to argue that the bass boats make just as much noise as PWC's. One step at a time...

I admire your enthusiasm but I think you're going to be even more pissed off when the people in power laugh at you for presenting a big petition with signatures from people who don't even live near the lake. I'm sure if you circled it around the internet a bunch in the right places, thousands of people would sign a petition to turn your lake into a monster truck track but those people wouldn't live there so their votes don't count.

I don't think you'll reach the goal of 1000 signers within 2009, or it'll be like jfw432 says and the politicians won't care.
