Needing Advice and answers

First off thanks for any advice or information given here. 2nd Hello.

So i have ridden skis a good bit back about 10 years ago or so. Parents always owned a sit down but i always enjoyed standups of parents friends. I am wanting to get a standup. This brings me to needing advice and a few questions answered. I have a 92 Waverunner 3 That i started to strip down to sell off some parts. Is it worth turning this 650 into a 701 and using it in a standup? What is the cost (Roughly) of the conversion? What parts are needed? have i lost my mind?(probably)

Thanks ~ Spencer "Goober" Charlesworth, jr.

if what you have now is really clean and youre dealing with an extra $1000, or so, it might be worth it to find an SJ, minus engine and electrics and do a swap.

the thing is, a 650 superjet usually goes for around $600 - $1200, so moneywise, theres not a huge difference. dependability wise, there is, if you went through everything an know what youre doing.

btw, welcome to the X, mr spencer "goober" charlesworth jr.

great name, btw!

well, The motor i have has either a stuck ring or burnt up piston. Thats why i was wondering about the conversion and what not. Considering if the rest of the motor is good, Just pulled it out of the ski about 5 mins ago. Have not broke it down yet.

And thanks for the welcome :D
