Need your .02!!

I hope to have my ski back together next week. I put on 44's while the engine was out and swapped out the jets. I'm considering taking it to a mechanic near my work to have them fine tune the carbs or do it myself. Not sure which route to go??? Can i do any damage if they aren't adjusted right??

Here's carb specs:
44 Mikuni's
Mains 110.. Pilots 115.. Neddle 2.0.. spring 95gr 1 turn out on both high & low

Engine:
701 bored 1 over
ADA head w/185 PSI
Factory B limited

Thanks

yes....lots of damage can be done....unless your dealer is on the water or has a water tank they probably wont do the best job tuning your carbs. i would call a couple of people like paul (lpw) and chuck (supertune) and see what they tell ya. they should be able to get your jetting pretty close for ya. make sure you tell them whether they are oem or aftermarket 44's too as that makes a difference.

also do a search and read up on a thread freestylegeek started called 44 observations...lots of reading but will really help you understand those carbs.
