Custom/Hybrid Need to know what inserts for battery mount

I need to move my battery, what are inserts everyone is using to hold a battery tray in place?

Stainless t-nuts. Just get a size that looks close and buy the appropriate stainless bolts, too

One more question, do I just lay glass over the top of them. Or is there another process?
Should I use a weave or stranded?

Put a few increasingly larger patches of glass over them.

I was in a pinch last year and used standard thread stainless t-nuts and allen head bolts from lowes. Worked great. Used both modeling clay and foam earplugs to keep resin out of my threads when glassing.

Pointed side up? Fill with clay. then glass over top and then drill it out?

It's very easy. Put the first patch down with the tee nut penetrating the patch (barrel up)
Carefully brush on the resin. Lay more patches as needed.
Unless you're using a grossly oversized brush or you're dripping all over the place, there isn't a need to plug the barrel (but it wouldn't hurt)
That's all there's to it.

Thanks Matt. Just wanted to make sure I had it right so I didn't have a 15lb wrecking ball bouncing around inside my hull.
