need stats and figures for PWC sales..

have to write a paper tonight about the PWC industry. we have to pretend to be CEO of one of the industry leaders (sea-doo, kawasaki, yamaha) and make recommendations on what they should do (exit market, expand this area, etc..). It has have to be objective and unbiased, so i just cant say "make more standups," and not have any facts to support it.
Anyone know where i can get some figures, and have any ideas? i was thinking of being sea-doo and recommending we never make another ski again... :rolleyes:

Seriously though, is there any proof that the standup market is expanding and coming back to life?

Go to the corporate websites for the manufacturers. Annual reports are a good place to start. After that, send an email to AWA. If anybody had decent info they were willing to share, it would be AWA.

Without any real proof, I would say that standup sales are either declining or staying flat. The manufacturers can't even sell them in California, and that alone probably does the most damage. Just thoughts... good luck.
