Need some help diagnosing this

I just removed the stock exhaust from my 95 blaster 701 and installed a Coffman exhaust that I bought from someone. Once I was done I cranked it up and it ran great and shut it down after a few seconds. Went back to start it again and it won't turn over. It just cranks and cranks. Any suggestions? I'm at a loss.

Thanks!

it could be a lot of things, but nothing comes to mind from just swapping the pipe. did you happen to pull your start/stop wires loose or something like that in the process?

and probably un related, but i had a similar problem and i had a wire come loose in the ebox. what all have you checked out so far?

I did pull the plugs and they were very wet. I pulled one of the plug wires and couldn't get any sparkto jump from the screwdriver to the plug. I did change out my handlebars at the same time. I had to take off the start stop switch and put it on the new bars. I did check the fuse in the ebox and it was fine.

Unplug the stop switch and see if you have spark then.It should be a black and a white wire on the same connector.

Not necessarily, you said you changed bars, some of those switches are way sensitive.try this first, take the switch back apart, hook it back up and see if it works with the top off.If it does the plastic piece for the laynard switch may be hitting the stop switch and may need the plastic trimmed down on it some.
