Need some advice please

So my ski kind of fell apart on me on the lake the other day. One of my air filters ripped, and I think some water got in there because the ski was bogging down, and then wouldn't start. Where do I pick up a new one for cheap? I have the older Tau Cetti ones. Also, after that dries out will my ski start up, or is there something else I will need to do?

Also, I installed a dry pipe and ECWI last week. THe pipe didn't come with the mount that goes to the head so I had some aluminum blocks with some bolts going through them fabricated at work. Both bolts snapped off inside the head. Where can I get this mount? Should I just get a new head?

Oh yeah, where can I get that mount for my pipe? The one that goes to the head.

Get a new head from ADA and get their dry pipe mount. Much better setup. Also I would track down a stock flame arrestor and just run that, it is the best setup for your ski.

Yeah that is the mount I am running with an ADA head, works great. Best price on stock F/A would be either here in the classifieds, pwctoday in the classifieds or on ebay. If you dont feel like waiting you can buy one OEM but that gets spendy, they are up for sale often maybe just put a wanted add up.

Make sure you're not trying to mount the pipe rigidly, it will break the bolts every time. You have to have it rubber mounted.

Also if you have it out, I would look into reinforcing the front mount (maybe have a vertical gusset welded on) mine was welded when I got it and after a day of jumping and stabs it busted off the pipe...weeeee I get to take it back out. Whos got a B-pipe for sale?!?!

Yeah I've already learned that the hard way. Where do you get the rubber mounts, or what do you use? Any pics?

Yup I actually just sent payment for that head just now, and my buddy is gonna give me his stock F/A setup so I should be pretty much good to go. I just have to order the head mount for the exhaust and figure out how to rubber mount it.

Okay I just ordered those. 20 some bucks a piece. I also got that mount from ADA so hopefully I'll be set now. This week is starting to get expensive. I still need to find a MSD too. Hopefully my ski will be rippin by the weekend.

Oh one more thing, am I going to need a new head gasket too?

You may need a new Oring (that head uses Orings to seal not gasket).

It is pricey to get all the correct mounts but the peace of mind of knowings its done right is deffinitly worth it.
