Need single intake for 49 full spec on kawi 750

The title pretty much says it all. I want to try a single full spec 49 in my 750 kawi for surf. Better fuel economy etc. Any suggestions on what intake to use. thanks

The only single intake that works well overall on the 750 is a PJS. It has smaller passages than stock and designed for a keihin. I have adapted a 46 to a stock manifold with mixed results. The jetting that gave best response was too lean for long WOT runs. The big mikuni on a stock manifold had a little better pop than my Keihin 42 on the pjs manifold but would lean out. Save big singles for jumping and smaller 42-44s for full throttle runs.
