Anybody know if home depot or lowe sells some kind of primer ?

They may have bulb style ones in the lawn and garden section...

Nope I sure don't . I'm going to a local guys house today he's got a total loss (he claims ) laying around . I'm on my way home from work I'll look for that primer

Just choke it with your palm for the first start on the trailer.

Agreed, it also makes you open your hood and do a quick visual inspection before riding, always a good idea.

I do have my primer inside the hull (properly tune carb only needs to be primed once)so i always check everything before a head out
