Right now the carbs are set to 3/4 turn low speed. 117.5 pilot 125 main 2 turns out highspeed. I am going to try either a bigger pilot or lowering my popoff. I am leaning toward the bigger pilot.
I was thinking about changing it because I could use a little more fuel up top too... its freakign confusing how it all works...waxhead said:if you find the mod is better with the low speed turned out but it loads up then its a good chance your low speed is to small or your pop off is to high
depending on when its doing it
Remeber when you change from circuit to circuit as you go up the range the other circuits are still working
so by adding fuel in the idle area ( low speed ) you are adding fuel in the all the circuits above that
but its causing your idle to go rich
the just off idle you are talking about is your pop pressure
its to high
drop your pop off
dont change your low speed jet just yet
take your pop off to about 18psi and see what happens
