300/440/550 Need Install Pix - 300SX Mariner Pipe

Does anyone have any pix of an installed 300sx Mariner pipe? I have one (expansion pipe and head pipe) but I'm not sure the water routing and I think it needs a 3rd piece - a 1/2" thick plate between the head and the pipe for cooling.


The picture of the headpipe below is a kerker pipe and it's jacketed and has the cooling annulus on the plate that meets the head. The mariner pipe is just a flat plate there so water does not go from the head so that's why I'm figuring there is a component that's missing.

I don't know man, but here are the installation instructions for the Kerker pipe to serve as a reference. I'm not sure why there would be no water circulation through the head pipe.
