Need Help

Hi all I'm buying a 2006 Kawasaki 800 SX-R. The thing need help with is people are telling me that an SX-R should have a ride-plate. My question is what is a ride-plate and where can i get one? Please let me know

It already has a stock ride plate, but what the people mean is that you would probably want to get an aftermarket plate to help the ski hook up and handle better. You don't have to get one right away, you can ride the ski stock and have a blast. You'd just want to think about upgrading in the future.

By the way, it's the aluminum plate that sits on the bottom back of the ski right underneath the pump and nozzle.

It also depends on what type of riding you will be doing, and what type of water conditions you ride in.
