how can you tell the difference between a seadoo 580 and 717

The 587 has a series of 5mm allen head bolts securing the water plate to the head, the 657 and 717 do not have these allen head bolts, just the11 mm head bolts, the 657 has a very large exit hose coming off the top of the head on the right side , the 717 has a regular size hose about 1/2 to 5/8 in diameter
