The other popular option is to run both cooling lines from the pump straight to the manifold (you may have to tap it). Run two lines out the head (may have to tap again), one to a pisser, and one to the pipe. From there, route the pipe as shown in the pic already posted. Those are the two most common routings, although there are a number of slight variations.

This is how i've routed his. Only one bypass, the one off the top of the head pisses. The other does nothing. This is how someone told me to do it. So whats wrong? Keep in mind this is a Riva Red pipe Not a Factory b-pipe like in the drawing.

If nothing is coming out of the pisser that is off the T at the stinger, then you have a clog or some other problem. It could either be flooding your waterbox with all that water or your pipe has no water movement at all. Either way it's bad news so you'll want to figure it out. Also, most would recommend to go from the head to a low fitting on the pipe and then out the higher fitting to the stinger. This just makes sure that water jacket is full of water and not some water, some air like could happen as you have it drawn.

I've blown thru all the hoses, and none seem clogged. SHould the T part that goes straight thru go to the water box and the part that goes down go to the by pass? ALso this is testing on a water hose not in the water will that matter?

You figure this out yet? If you are still undecided- I have a 93 blaster with a reva red pipe--> I can look how it's setup tonight or tomorrow and let you know.... make a post to let me know if you still need the info....

Hey man,

Here you go. I got caught up in my ski project yesterday and didnt get enough time to inspect the water routing until today.

I did not do this routing myself, but it has always worked well so I never questioned it.

I do not know if there are any restrictors in these lines, so if you do your cooling setup this way- check the temperature of the exhaust and the water coming out of the pissers and adjust accordingly with restrictors.
