Well leave it to the last ride of the season to break the ski but that is what I did. I had the ski out at Corsen's a couple weeks back and in going from the ramp over to pick a friend up at the beach the ski starting revving really high even though I was giving the same amount of gas (not much) and not moving at more than idle speed. So I figured I must have ran something over floating in the water though I was going pretty slow and didn't see anything.
Long story short, I didn't see anything caught up in the ski while it was in the water but when I took it out I found what looked like a piece of life jacket strap (that nice and strong braided material) stuck in the impellar. I was able to remove the strap but the ski still sounds the same and I'm afraid either something else is stuck that I can't see or there is more damage.
So with that, does anybody know any reputable shops in the Marlton/Cherry Hill, NJ area? I suppose I would take a ride to wherever as long as I knew a reputable place that would charge me fairly for the repair.
Thanks in advance and I sure wish people wouldn't litter :frown:.
