Sweet. Too bad I have to pull the exhaust manifold again lol just put a new gasket on it -_- I've pulled this motor out way too many times this summer lol it's getting old when each time hours of labor makes no performance progress

I even got new cases this week and the demon is still in there! These motors couldn't be more simple.. I don't understand lol. Cranks good only 3 years old. Brand new pro x pistons broke them in yesterday. And all gaskets and o rings and crank seals are brand new. How do ya go wrong?! It's gotta be these old carbs I bought. But I rebuilt those too lol... Part of me feels like its not tuning.. I've changed jets and tuned and noticed changes and got it to the best place I can get it. If I go any richer or leaner it isn't As good yet it still does not run hard. I'm mind blown idk wtf is going on here... But it's killin me! I'm supposed to be out getting barrel rolls under my belt this summer, not screwin around like this. I'm to the point where I want to just hand it over to a professional who can ride and diagnose and straighten it out but there's no one anywhere near me who does this. Wish art at jet works was my neighbor lol that would be bomb..

Ive been sitting back watching this thread, and it appears as if you want a magic answer. There is no such thing. You've been asked to verify timing with a light, but you haven't. You are assuming your timing/electrics are ok.......but they may not be. You've been asked to pressure test your engine, but you haven't. I had an engine fresh from the machine shop leaking......they can and will leak. You don't mention condition of coil........could need replacing. Wires break down fairly often in those. What is the compression and the squish of your motor? What condition are the reeds in?

Unfortunately you need to test and diagnose all these things. You can't assume parts are good and things aren't leaking. There is only one way to do it and that's the right way. If you don't have the equipment, take it to someone who does, or keep chasing it like you've been doing. It may be worth setting up an appointment with someone that knows what's up, even if it means driving a few hours.

Good luck getting it fixed!
