Need a Kawi 750 or 800 mod pipe

So about four months ago now I lost my X2 (favorite toy) in a huge wave at the mouth of Mission Bay here in San Diego. The worst part, there was an FPP limited set up on it. So now I’m looking to either replace it or use a FPPSXR 800 pipe if I can find one. I found my ski about a half mile south of the mouth of the bay where I lost it. Got the pump, stuffer, impeller, driveshaft, footholds, grate and I’m alive so I guess that’s good….but I need another pipe so I can go do it again. That wave was 16’. It was gnar

Dude. Went from having the time of my life to this might be it…water was 56* and I had to swim about 100yards then climb up on a jetty barefoot with that swell coming thru

That makes a bit more sense us it getting caught up in the rocks. It's wild how quickly the water conditions can change in the ocean. One of my buddies lost a svpro in the lake near me still hasn't been recovered going on 2 years now

Ya. 12 foot swells coming through then that forth was a monster. I tried to go to Diving for it twice but visability was so bad with the storms at that time…I’m not sure how fast the aluminum Will corrode but I hate to leave it on the bottom…

That is the absolute worse place I can think of to even consider taking something like an X2 out in. Bare foot, in winter, by yourself???? Bad move. You're very lucky it didn't end far worse.

You should have been there I had 5mil suit booties helmet and glasses. Not my first rodeo. Still can’t swim for my life with booties on. I was going to play it safe and go inside the other bay buuuuut…how often do you see double overhead inside the bay?
