SX/SXi/SXi Pro need 750sxi help

I just bought a 95 750sxi. It runs absolutely perferct. The problem is that it constantly bounces out of the water. You can't even get it to run wide open on flat water on your knees without it bouncing like crazy! Does this have to do with my impellar, intake grate or ride plate? Help please I'm new to this sport and completely fell in love just don't know much about these things yet.

practice. The porpoising will be worse on your knees. You need to stand up and lean forward. practice. When I first got my sxi it took me a couple weeks to be able to go full throttle without it going out of control.

I've gotten pretty good at riding it I think? I've raced professional motocross for 7 yrs so I have pretty decent skills. It does help by leaning forward but it still just hops out of the water the whole time. My buddy has a 09 superjet and it doesnt hop whatsoever! I cant even keep up to him when we are just tooling over to the other side of the lake 1/4 to 1/2 throttle. Do all these kawis ride this terrible? I was also looking at the stock figures for my ski and top speed was just under 50mph! What ski was that on? Mine might do 40mph prob. I think I'm gonna sell and buy a superjet

my 95 sxi does the rated 52 or whatever pretty easily. If you still can't get it with some practice you can try a new intake grate and extended ride plate.

A slight arc or turn will provide a little more stability and mph. Going straight on flat water is the worst for me. I constantly work the throttle. Its WFO and when the ski pops off of the water I let off to let it get another bite.

Pro moto rider will have skills that will transfer. Try to always keep the pump hooked up to the water even if you have to go slower. The old slow down so you can go fast thing.

my 750sx was really bad at this
I shimmed down the ride plate with 3 washers at the back of the plate
seems to help- my 14 yr old son who rides it most can dust my SN now!
minimal porpoising
marine silicone plus longer bolts in the back two holes, like this:
