First time out with it.....Also any tips on how to get rid of the water drops on the lens cover?.....iv read about spraying rainx on it?

Very....was using the Chest mount....dont plan on using it again til i can come up with a better plan....prob a helmet mount...

I haven't had any issues with my chest mount... I usually use a lanyard but not with my chesty. How did it come off?

Floaty back is nice but doesn't work with chesty. Still good to use a lanyard. Floaty will keep it on top so you can find it in your buddy's pump.

rough landing from the wake jump pushed me forward and down.....bottom of camera came down on the chin pad and i assume just pushed it out of the clip that holds it on the chest mount....Lanyard is a good idea...

I lost a hero 2 with floaty door last year. Now I use an aluminum tripod mount bolted to my helmet, an aluminum lens protector with tether mount, and a stainless tether cord. Rain X doesn't work the greatest. I'm hoping someone designs a lens protector with an air diverter to blow the water spots away.

I've run the Chesty in heavy surf and never had an issue. A lanyard would be easy enough to install.

You can also lick the cover and it keeps the water spots away decently. Forgive the fellas in the video the were extremely happy about the SCOTUS ruling.

The one time I have taken my gopro out on the ski I had the big yellow floating tied to it while it was on the head strap.
