FX-1 ne1 else have troubles getting you hood on?

The OEM seal develops a "set" after time, and if the set has part of the seal rolled to one side, it's very hard to return it to the correct orientation. Mine has done this and I will live with it until I replace the hood seal. The FX-1 Hood is one of the lightest and best OEM hoods IMO. If you are really bothered by the issue, just replace your seal.

the seals suck! it takes me like 5 min to put my hood on haha

My seal has already "set" in one 4" area, but I'm trying to keep the rest from doing the same by putting the hood on carefully

Mine has rolled over in more than one place, but it don't let water in. I will deal with it until it starts leaking, or it becomes time for me to have a painted ski. I do worry about how much pressure it puts on the latch. I hate it when a big boat is going by and I have to put the hood on in a hurry.
