Is there anywhere to ride surf in myrtle beach?

I thought the east coast was lawless when it came to surf?

Myrtle Beach ain't. They've got a helmet law and fireworks laws even though the rest of SC is cool. I ride with buddies in Murrell's Inlet just south of Myrtle. Lots of people party by the jetty and there are good waves between the jetty as well as if you go around the North one and hit the beach right there.

It's actually against the law in NC and SC, but it's like a lot of laws that are just there to keep people from being dumb. Most any touristy beach is a big no, but most any small town beach is perfectly fine.
