My Repair list... 96 spx

Okay than...well I would just check out your local bombardier dealer, a new remanufactured shortblock from BRP runs about $1800-2000 for a 787...I rebuilt one last year and came in around $1200 in parts...maybe a little more than grabbing someting from the states but at least you don't have to concern yourself with shipping and dealing locally is sometimes just easier.

On a side note a friend of mine just moved out to calgary like last week...he is pretty good with skis and such. I am sure he would be willing to help you rebuild if you aren't capable. PM me if you want his info and I will pass it along.

any model spx is always last years xp as far as the motor goes. 97 spx= 96 xp motor and so on. i have always been told that sbt motors were purposably built detuned. have a lttle less compression and turn about 500 rpms less, thats how they warrenty them. they dont turn up quite as good and if you mess with it, the warrenty is void. we have bought some of thier motors to go in boats that were being sold or for a neighbor that just wanted thier boat to run and thier fine, just wouldnt want it in my personal ski. when you build it yourself, you know what you got. my .02
