Type 9 fpp and Coffman lightning I believe. Non PV engines I believe the Coffman is on a billet R&D cylinder. I've seen some spacers and clearance machining on the fpp yami head pipe for the mod and limited pipes when used on PV setups should that route be chosen. .

Great, thanks.

My FPP Manifold and head pipe only needed very minor grinding on the bolt flange to clear my PV's.

Can't wait to see this done Joe! Lots of great info in this thread and refs to use. Much appreciated and much anticipation

Thanks. The word 'Done' sounds nice, but I don't think I know what that means :)

I decided last night to go with the Limited pipe to get some riding in before the season ends. I'll focus on the dry pipe for my winter project.

Havin' some real fun today, trying to get a pipe on this thing. The DASA motor is a bit longer on the exhaust ports than a stock cylinder, making fitting the b-pipe head pipe to chamber a really tight fit against the hull.

Giving my arms a break and fueling up on coffee and bacon before going at it again.

Motor looks awesome in the hull

The bacon worked, Limited pipe in and water lines run. Had to use the Factory Pipe OEM coupler. all my fancy silicone ones were just too tight given i had zero space to rotate or angle the chamber to help. The FP one seems to have a slightly larger ID.

Another order to McMaster for some Oetiker type clamps to finish it. I need like 22 3/8" clamps for the ski... !!!

Fuel lines, next up.

Ski is almost complete now. Fired her up for the first time in a year and she sounded awesome.

Look at how well the CF SJ tank fits in the hull, and with a Limited chamber. Just had to move the battery box back 1/2". I have an FX-1 chamber, but thought the larger limited would work better with this motor. We'll see.

She ran great the first time out, but I have a bit of jetting work and carb syncing to do.

The 13/18 prop seems a bit too tall. I'm running a TBM stuffer, with a 84mm Pro-tec compression and 89mm pro-tec steering nozzle. I just ordered up a 9/15 Hooker setback -7. If it spins, I'll go up from there.

I'm running the new lightweight WPS battery from 4Seasons. It's very light compared to my Odyssey, same length and width as a typical battery, but shorter. It's been great so far.

After a discussion with Dave at Impros yet again, I ordered a 11/17 Hooker to try first. He's 100% convinced I'll spin the 9/15 and practically wouldn't let me buy a 10/16. So i'm following his advice. I may have a 9/15 hooker for sale soon, or I might re-pitch it.
