My New Toy

Hi, my name is Jay and i'm new to the forum. I bought a 1990 550 about tow weeks ago for $250 so im pretty excited. I've been looking for a ski since last summer and i've looked at a ton of different ski's. Most of them weren't even worth looking at and then i saw this one on Craigslist. Went and looked at, had a nice hull was clean, turned over had plenty of compression but wasn't getting any fire. So thats where im at now, I need a CDI coil for the e box. It came with a ton of stuff already on, im not sure on the brands but it has a 44mm carb, exhaust, ride plate and a few other things. Here's a few pics of her.

I have a cdi for the e box but is your ski a reed port or piston port and have you tested the stator yet....you can have the cdi if you pay for shipping

if stock engine it is a piston port motor.

I haven't tested my stator, but i had a guy i know look at it. He says that it looks fine. I'm gonna try the CDI and then go from there.

Finally got it running right, it had a bad stator. I took it for a ride the other day and it runs pretty dam good. I'm in the process of putting new turf on it so when i get it all ready to go i'll get some new pics.
