When I bought my ski it came with a Pro-Tec drop nozzle kit installed. To me its useless because I never use it. So today I took the pump off and started looking at the drop nozzle and found that it would be very simple to pretty much reverse the stystem to a VTS. I ground the sliding plane a little for some more throw, changed locations of the cable holder to the front side and bam It's working. I'm not getting 45 deg's or anything close to that matter but it looks like I am getting around 25 deg's. I know when it was a drop nozzle it would push the nose right into the water and now it has more throw so it should do something.
I have a buddy that owns a welding shop that is going to weld a small tab on the bottom of the pump so I can mount the centering spring on and the nozzle will return to center when the lever is released. :brap:
