give us a report back on your impression of the pipe.

they make real good power in my opinon, they have a reputation for cracknig, but mine has been installed since the early 90s without a crack.

which leads me to beleive the problem with cracks is in the quality of the install job.

is there a bolt missing on the pipe where it mounts to the head?

I think maybe the cracking would be guys riding surf with the hard landings and such .:biggthumpup:

in the paper work to install the pipe it says to use the washers to fill the gap between the pipe and the head. if you didn't that would def do some damage down the road.

That very well could be the case, but in the many times ive read that those pipes are "terrible" posted by folks, big landings vs flatwater was never mentioned.
