i think the horse power is there , the engine im running at the moment is a sxr 800 , sxr carbs , r&d head and 650 elecs. it was radar at 53mph before i added the super cone and was just off the limiter when you held it wide open and got there dam quick.
ill give you a report tommorw when i test it at the lake

Cool set up. I think it's been asked before, how big a deal is getting a 750 pump in the X2 and how worth it is it? THanks.

just got back from testing the new set up at the lake not long ago . well i think i have to give it a big 2 thumbs up :biggthumpup:. it seems to pull harder all the way thro the rev range . hooks up better out off corners and seems faster on top end . will take the gps out next time and see how it does compared to the old set up (52.8mph before). but all and all id recommend the tbm super cone to anyone . it really is a poor mans magnum pump .
here is a quick vid off a friend taking my ski 4 a quick test at the lake today

there is a wee bit to do to get them to fit , but nothing to bad . i did mine in an afternoon but i had access to everything i needed (alli welder) which made it alot easer. here is the thread that i did when i did my conversion last time http://x-h2o.com/showthread.php?t=25517

for just the performance difference, its prob not that worth it to do the swap but where it really makes it worth it is how easy it is to get the pump in and out (no need to seal the pump each time ) and you can be rideing within minutes off putting the pump in . then there is the much wider choice off props (750 and sxr props all bolt right in) and the things like the tbm super cone bolt right in with no mods
