btw - I assume it will be a bit choppy, but we are talking 125$ shipped, give it a rest here.... No helmet cam is gonna be good for full on dvd production, but it's good enough for me to check out what I'm doing while I'm rolling and so on... What a perfect wat to critique your body position. My cam will not be on my head, it will be mounted on my pole facing me, i will be able to reach over and hit the on button, do the trick and turn it off... werd...

Not to mention how awesome that view is when doing rolls and flips

Hey Nick, also try some forward facing shots during a backflip, I would like to see the riders perspective so I can get it in my head what to expect when I get the balls to try one.

The video looks a little choppy....SXRForever has a different camera (I believe) and his turned out way better. Its a lot smoother and better quality but I think it cost a bit more....his video should also be on the other site.

Yeah he has the "real" one if you want to call it that, not that this one is fake, but.. I tried asking him to total out what he ended up paying for the working unit and his words I believe were..."don't ask"

And this one is only $125+SD card.... I'll most likely have one of these for summer and we all can try it out.

Ok for the dense I meant a radio transmitter arrangement so that you could record on high quality equipment that stays on the beach instead of stuffing your video at low res on a memory card.

they have that at the consumer level???

Just on a quick look there is stuff under $1k for RC airplanes. (now that 125 is making everything look pricy!) . I have no clue about quality range etc, or how hard to waterproof - thats why I asked if anyone considered it.

yeah... I would not even consider a camera in that price range. I wasn't really even in the market for a cam. I just saw this thing and fell in love w/ the concept imediately... (hoping for the best)
