No he will not!
First off, thanks a bunch to X-Scream and Skat-Trak for helping make this happen :notworthy:

Got this tonight, a Yamaha 12 vein 148 setback pump with the X-Scream one piece housing. It is a thing of beauty all made in the USA :usaribbon: This will be going into the Matrix demo build at some point :scared: Best surprise of all, Skat-Trak installs the bearings and drive shaft for you if you get their setback drive shaft.......so that saved me some cash that I was expecting to spend when I got it

I have had great luck with a 144 mag pump in the past, and soon I will have enough power for this 148........better start working on my grip :Banane26:

yikes!!!!! "Skat-Trak installs the bearings and drive shaft for you if you get their setback drive shaft....." isnt there an OEM couch driveshaft that will work with the set back pumps? I gotta believe these shafts are HIGH$$$$$! Not that they are not worth it, just wondering?
That pump is GORGEOUS!!! Makes ya wanna run it on top of the ski!

Better get back in the gym..... You'll never get any ride time if you have to stop after 3 minutes of fury

You know how I roll, practice = competition :smokin:

I would have had to get an OEM shaft if I didn't get a setback pump, so it was just about a wash. It was a nice surprise that they included bearings and seals though!

$12 worth of parts

Not from a dealer, but I'm sure you could get everything from a bearing supply house if you know what you're looking for....problem is you usually need OEMs to show them what you're looking for.

thats sweet looking but i have always wondered whats the advantage of having something like that 12 vein setback pump compared to a regular pump that comes with like a stock superjet?

This is my first setback so I can only tell you what I've been told, it is more for top speed. As for the mag pump in general, you can't get the hookup they provide from an OEM pump with any combo of props, TBM cones, etc......not so far as I know at least. In smooth water you probably wouldn't notice the difference, but in chop or surf it's night and day!
