i once rode that stiff. lossen up,, bend the knees, just flow with the ski..
As far as jump subs, do you have lifters or footholds? Try pushing the pole hard stright into the pivot of the pole bracket and try to lean a bit more forward. bent the elbows and lift the back of the ski with the legs into a squat, and not squat into the back of the tray.
