My first "nose job"

Boris

The Good Old Days
It may be nothing compared to what Slutty has done in the past but a proud moment for me non the less.

It's amazing how those sand bars can jump up at you when you are having fun. The nose took a hit and the rear corners are showing signs of sand bar rash as well.

Love the square no nose, kind of looks like a big mouth bass.

I still have the busted off piece and I'm thinking of cleaning it up and glassing it back on with a layer on top and maybe a couple on the bottom.
Or should I just make a new nose ????

I think all you need is some duck tape. Send Steve802 a pm

Absolutely!

I'd reuse that piece, and stick it on with some good cloth on both sides and call it good.

I'm in the process of building a new nose bumper on my round from scratch, nothing to reuse.

I'm still basking in my glory but I see how it could get old.

Might start looking for a back up boat so I don't loose too much ride time if this keeps up.

I guess I', almost ready to destroy this one again.

The worst part of this whole thing is that I got carried away with the sanding (got the hull down to bare SMC) and now am thinking about a fancy paint job on the hull.
