I used an air chisel to remove old liner and then made cardboard templates to cut sheets of lexan. I cut the old air intake out, boxed handholds out and glassed. I 5200 them in then sanded and epoxyed with 3 layers 6 oz s weave cloth, I glued the lexan down, sanded and again glassed, I managed to use up a huge stockpile of cloth and resin that I had expiring in my cabinet from a couple surfboards I made last year. It's light strong and should work well. I mounted the fire extinguisher on the bulkhead on the exhaust side. Overall I am happy how it turned out. Also for the holds I used uv cure resin, which I love, but made sure to totally reinforce with epoxy. Photos to come
