my first attempts at make a hood for a ski

just thought i share with you guys my frist attempt at makeing a hood for a friends ski . it is for a see poo hx but dont hold that against me :haha:
it weigh in 8 kgs lighter that the standerd one (6.8kgs)
the carbon back hatch cover (200grams) is one i made for Michael Carstairs pro mod hx that he won the world finals one this year .

i havent thought about seling them yet wax . the mould for the hood is brads(he built Michael Carstairs w/f hx) and the hood is for him so i would have to work out a deal for the use off the mould on the hood . the back hatch cover mould is mine , there is a wee bit more work to do on that before ill think about selling them as it is just the cover only and we are tapeing them on at the mo wonted them as light as possable for the world finals , so have to work out a latch for them .
and i wont to try and get my own skis done soon as well then i might look at doing some other parts for sj,s and things . ive been trying to talk the local kawie shop into loaning me a new x2 to take a mould off :biggthumpup: . any ideas on wot stuff to make let me know if you arnt in a big hurry and wee could work out a deal

the hood is just a straight glass one as thats all bard wonted but we could get the weight down a bit more if i made them in carbon . the carbon hatch is done by resin infusion .
