Looking good!! Can't wait to see it 100%. I relate to breaking the bank. I am just now recovering from my project and it is not done yet. You are using a mag pump right?

How can you run under 800cc with a 10mm? I got one now with 81.5mm piston and I'm about 815cc
10mm crankshaft + 81mm piston = 804cc
10mm crankshaft + 82mm piston = 824cc
10mm crankshaft + 83mm piston = 844cc
10mm crankshaft + 84mm piston = 865cc
10mm crankshaft + 85mm piston = 885cc
10mm crankshaft + 86mm piston = 906cc
10mm crankshaft + 87mm piston = 927cc
10mm crankshaft + 88mm piston = 949cc
10mm crankshaft + 89mm piston = 971cc
10mm crankshaft + 90mm piston = 993cc

i sold like 5 toys this winter to build 1. its a stock pump, blueprinted with a TBM stuffer. actually the same pump that Ant used at WF on the white boat.(different impeller) its got a scat-trac magnum impeller. not sure what pitch? i honestly forget. ill check.

10mm crankshaft + 80mm piston = 783cc.
and like i said earlier, room for one more rebuild
10mm + 80.5 piston= 793cc

there are custom sleeves in this motor so i could run 80mm pistons.

Nice the "Sandman express" that is one sick boat, makes my 817 look like a 440. I think you have a 12/17 c75 prop in there if you ended up with the 144mm mag prop. It was a fun project to help you with now get back here so we can ride.
10 mil ??? Did they change the rules this year ?? or are you going with.. no protest no probem ?

sweet ski tho !!
From what i could see in the rule book:
9.3 -“Engines may be bored. Aftermarket piston assemblies are allowed. Engine displacement must not exceed class designation(800cc). The number, type, and placement of rings on pistons may be changed.”

9.3.4 –“Crankshaft assembly may be modified or aftermarket. Stroke and rod length may be changed”

How can you run under 800cc with a 10mm?
80mm x 78mm is 784cc, less mass to move then the bigger pistons, legal and a heck of a lot of piston speed. Nice way to think outside the box on the build Mark.

lol. the sandman! i wanna put a sticker on it that says "Barely Legal" and under it put "you know how i like em". :purr:
