Wow, I was a lot more comfortable on it today even though I was on new-to-me trails. The suspension really works nicely. One spot has been muddy lately so there were 1-2" branches across it to protect the ground and the bike just rolled right on over like nothing.
I've got a little mis-shifting going on between like 3rd-5th gears, I'll have to adjust the rd, probably just the cable stretching since it's new.
I almost endo'd over a log on an uphill, but didn't and instead banged the hell out of my shin. I wish I had just gone on over...
I put the thumb extensions on the shifters and they worked better, thumb to shift up and push the lever down to shift down, much more natural to me.
Anyway, it was good ride and fun exploring Cherokee Park's trails even though I probably didn't hit 25% of them.
