FX-1 My 765 FX-1 freestlye project (WIP)

Started doing mods to it in 2007 after riding a friends modified 701.
Started with the mods as listed:

- Riva Groovy ride plate
- Riva Intake grate
- Solas Prop
- UMI -2 Handlepole
- UMI steering plate and handlebars
- Factory Pipe waterbox
- Factory pipe exhaust pipe
- ADA girdled head (now replaced)
- Blackjack 46 carb( rejetted)
- Dual 500 Bilges
- Just installed a Blowsion Scupper Valve
- Just completed Blowsion Footholds
- Riva bored cylinders (62T)
- ProX pistons


Replaced the 701 61x motor (placed it in my old B1), installed a 62T motor, new balanced crank. New OEM 62T cylinders, bored by Riva to about a 765ish, (I forget exact specs). PSI specs are expected to be around 190.

I was just about to do a new gelcoat/paint theme but I decided to ditch that old small FX1 pump and do the 650sx conversion and and soon as finances allow for it, I will be installing a tilt nozzle.

Any paint scheme ideas are appreciated. I was thinking a gloss black? I want something odd but sick. I dont want a racing theme.

just sent my waterbox, exhaust chamber and head over to get powdercoated!

Got the pump today (thanks VXSXH20 for the pump).... started working on the pump conversion, by grinding down the pump cavity....

Damn that looks clean!

yeah I know black is a PITA but i think it looks so clean so i still want it. i powdercoated my stuff like an olive green. all said and done im going to an accent olive green color (trying to mimic the toyota FJ army green color.

This is the color scheme im thinking about, the green looks a bit lighter than i plan to go, just because of my camera.

I like that look. I'm going with the stock graphic pattern from Exotic, but with more hot pink and purple... It's the wife's ski, and it has pink and black Hydro turf... might as well stick with the motif.

Her ski has the 650sx pump conversion as well, it is a really fun ski to ride! With that sweet engine you are building, that thing will be a rocket!

Project got sidelined due to moving, but back at it. Engine got reassembled since the powder coat. Did more glass and grinding for the pump.
