Thanks and sure, it's a entire sheet of hydro turf. But I spent alot of time making sure it fit on there and I had very little scraps. So if you want to be safe get two sheets

One of my friends put a sbn44 on a 550 running stock superjet 61x jetting specs. his 550 ripped. one of my other 550 buddies took the rear sponsons off and got alot better handling. may be some helpful hints for ya.

That came out killer minus the piston port motor. Reed is where its at for the 550! I love what you did for the lifter wedges keep it up buddy don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something you believe in because of what ski you have. Rip it up dude!:headbang::headbang:

I guess I have never updated this in a bit with new pics and such.........

I put some more parts on it, and got it running great, including some new sponsons. I did run into a problem doing a sub, and bottom out, and I kept going and cracked my pole with my knee. So I got a new one! redid the graphics and paint and here it is!

I also made a new handle bar bilge switch. It used the factory start switch screws to hold it on, and some epoxy....

As it is now, the ski is for sale and any of the parts on it, I went and got me a superjet instead of putting more time and money into this ski

Your ski is awesome...would you share with me more details how you made and attached the lifter wedges? Thanks

thanks and it was easy, just glue a bunch of turf together and trim and sand into the shape you want. Then I used the contact cement to glue it to the side of the tray with two SS screws. I used 3M 5200 on the screw holes to seal it up and that was it
