MWW Season Opener at Clinton Lake in DeWitt IL

Few of us guys from the Midwest Wave Warriors are having the first get together of the season at Clinton Lake. We'd like to extend the invite to any others out there who are also suffering from cabin fever. There is camping on-site and the water is quite warm because the water is used to cool the reactor.

This will be April 12-14 with the majority of us arriving Saturday (4-13) and camping for the night.

Pulling up to Clinton Lake DeWitt IL. The waterfall like thing in the beginning is the discharge canal. Can't ride in there but where it comes out to the lake you can.

Clinton Lake Launch gets very slick. You can see right where I stop my jeep tires is about the deepest you can go really or you will lose your vehicle in the lake like I did my trail blazer.

Quick tour of Clinton lake. This video is leaving the launch. You can see the campsite up on the bank. And the little cove with the dock for like loop G i think not sure. We just camp at j normally. Water is 68 in this area

Another tour of the lake. Starts in the cove and then around 1:45 we see the bridge you cross under to get to the hot bay. End of the video we pull up to where the discharge is. Water is 74 in this bay

air temp saturday will be 56 n sunny but the water by the discharge will be warmer then that..

but water by campsite will probably be around 50-55 degrees
