msd pro digital problem NO SPARK!!!!

got a msd pro digital ignition thats deciced to take dump on me after 200 litres of avgas from new, the red light turns on when i switch it on then flashes when im turning it over but has no spark, as far as i know all conections are fine, if it was a dodgy pick up would the brain still be flashing?
any ideas?????

Easiest way to rule out the pickup issue is take the two green wires going to the brain and touch them together. When you do, you should get a spark. If it sparks, then the problem is either your air gap, magnet on the flywheel, or pickup. If it doesn't spark, it's probably something else.

i think the brain is earthing out on the aluminium backing plate, becouse when the brain is un bolted it runs then bolt it bak up the light turns on and it has no spark. has anyone else had this problem?

the brain in the dead line change it or return it to MSD maybe they can fix it to you.
