I will be dropping my new motor, factory b-pipe, ada girdled head and msd enhancer all in monday evening. My question is should i max out the rev-limiter? I know that little 122mm pump will come un-glued and i dont wanna destroy my motor when it does. So who has some GOOD advice on where to set the limiter? Thanks

i left both mine at 8,000 which is where they come preset.

Depends how you ride mostly I would think. If you ride WFO! all the time, I would say not. But if you ride with good throttle control and only do short bursts of WFO I would say go for it...

your motor probally want turn nowhere near 8000 in the water so it probally doesnt matter much.

The convergent cone design of the b-pipe acts as a rev limiter for your engine; so just leave it at the preset specs and tighten the locknut.
