msd enhancer help

so i figured out my starting problem was my msd enhancer that i just bought and not ms start/stop switch. CHIT!!!! when i start it i get no spark until i release the start button. as soon as i release the start button it sparks briefly. is the enhancer messed up? is there any way to fix it? is it advancing the timing too much?it runs like a champ with my pro tec cdi

Its toast. Thats the classic symptom of their failure. There was a post once that some guy said he got his to work again cause of one of his coils was bad but you will have to search for it.

yep, CDI is done...

Same problem last year.
